Happy International Women’s to all the wonderful life-creating humans, we ought to celebrate ourselves.
We first would like to give a shout out to our fellow conservative women. We are told we are not true women and are often subject to obscene personal attacks and violent threats for standing up for our beliefs. When this happens, I urge you to speak louder. Don’t let anyone shut you up. If they insult you (and they often identify as feminists) call them out on their hypocrisy, it is not feminist to call women graphic names, and stand your ground. If somebody violently threatens you for your conservative beliefs report them, and continue speaking out. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are less of a woman for being conservative or pro-life or Republican or a Zionist or because you refuse to call yourself a feminist. You are not incendiary and thank you for standing up for what is right.
We would also like to take the time honour thirteen remarkable women.
Susan B. Anthony was a pro-life first wave feminist and was the president of the National American Women’s Suffrage Association. She was instrumental in helping pass the 19th amendment which gave women the right to vote.
Ann Coulter is a conservative commentator who is most well known for speaking out on the dangers of mass immigration. Controversial to many, she is horribly maligned by many on the left and takes it like a queen.
Betsy DeVos is the American Secretary of Education and a huge proponent of school choice and voucher programs which allow poor kids to get a better education. She is maligned by teacher’s unions and leftist activists for her work.
Brigitte Gabriel is a lebanese born christian who grew up during the war and speaks out on both radical Islam, from personal experience and the radical left.
Nikki Haley is the current US ambassador the United Nations who has garnered a tremendous reputation for calling out the UN’s anti-Israel bias and has a penchant for standing up to the bully tactics of rogue nations.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a muslim apostate and genital mutilation survivor who speaks about the reformation of radical Islam and has received the ire of the left and takes it like the boss she is.
Michelle Malkin is a conservative commentator who is best known for glorifying entrepreneurs and standing for immigration enforcement. She too is unfairly maligned by the left.
Sarah Palin was the Vice Presidential nominee of 2008 and an unapologetic conservative. While fielding constant personal attacks she became the de-facto leader of the tea party movement which reinvigorated Reagan conservatism in America.
Condoleezza Rice was the first black female national security advisor and secretary of state. She was a leader in counter terrorism efforts
Sarah Huckabee Sanders fields constant personal attacks from the left as the White House Press Secretary and is an outspoken conservative.
Ayelet Shaked is the minister of justice in Israel. She has supported strong counter terrorism bills and seeks to loosen economic regulations.
Margaret Thatcher was the first female prime minister in the United Kingdom and a staunch conservative who stood for the message of liberty and helped destroy communism.
Harriet Tubman was a leading abolitionist who led many enslaved black people to freedom through the underground railroad. And she was a gun-toting Republican to boot.
I created Dame Right to encourage and empower conservative females. Who knows, your name could be the next one to make this list.
I also think it is important to acknowledge that while women have it pretty good in western liberal democracies many women are still oppressed throughout the world. In Iran brave female protesters are removing their hijabs, which they are forced by law to wear and facing jail sentences. In many sharia run countries women are beaten for the “crime” of being raped. Female Genital Mutilation, which is wear women have their clitorises removed, often without anestesia, so they cannot feel pleasure during sex, is still common throughout much of the Arab world and in Africa. It unfortunately is now starting to happen in western countries as radical Islam spreads throughout them. Illegal Immigrants and Coyotes rape up to 80% of illegal or trafficked women. We both should acknowledge our western privilege and speak out on the atrocities committed against women across the world.
Happy International Women’s Day everybody!
