Europe lacks the fundamental freedoms that the constitution provides and because of that they leave the gates open for problematic ideologies. The countries either split into nationalist far right ones such as Poland or far left countries with open borders and a tolerance for the evils of radical Islam. Countries like Sweden, France, Germany and the United Kingdom fall into that category. The United Kingdom has been all over the international news in the past few years for both terror attacks and the reintegration of former Islamic State fighters.
Salman Abedi, the terrorist who killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande teenage pop concert last year, was allowed back into the UK after being radicalized in Syria. Iraqi Ahmed Hassan was taken in by British foster parents and blew up a tube stop injuring 30 people. The 2005 London bombers were allowed back into the country after being radicalized abroad. From this one could easily deduce that anyone would be allowed into the United Kingdom, anyone except for right wing activists that is.
Lauren Southern, Brittney Pettibone and Martin Sellner have all been banned form the UK. Southern was banned for a political stint where she set up a booth saying “Allah is a gay g-d” based off of articles saying that Jesus Christ was gay. Pettibone was banned because she planned to interview Anti-Radical Islam activist Tommy Robinson and Sellner (the boyfriend of Pettibone) was banned for being part of an Identitarian movement.
I think criticism of Islam is healthy as any critique of an ideology (and yes religion is ideology) is although Islam tends to be more problematic than other religions. There are many wonderful muslims, many of whom want to moderate Islam and while I believe they should lead the movement I support non-muslims who also choose to partake in this. Saying Allah is a gay g-d may be offensive but offence should not be a crime, it should be what sparks a healthy debate.
I fundamentally disagree with Identarian movements on the other hand, which all three activists are a part of. The ideology is basically on supporting people based on their birthplace instead of their ideology and is antithetical to individualism and conservatism. That being said it is silly to ban them, while allowing in terrorists and people with far more heinous ideologies. The United Kingdom is a sovereign nation that has the right to admit or deny admission to any foreigner it chooses but it seems like blatant capitulation to radical Islam to allow in Jihadists but to deny non-violent Identatarian activists.
